ASSERTIVENESS - TWO DAY

Assertion begins with an empowered state of mind, accompanied by the relevant behavioural skills that contribute to real assertion.

We experience a variety of situations where we often feel the desire to push back or state our current constraints in a meaningful manner. Our lack of assertion / personal confidence may reduce the momentum of projects moving in the right direction. Our teams may also feel a sense of ambiguity or reduction in leadership as a result of OUR non assertion.

In this module, we clarify what assertion can look, feel and sound like in a business context and compare it to our existing behaviours. We will examine specific business scenarios where the need to be assertive is very important and agree hard hitting solutions that are easily transferrable.
